Rag Dolls and Teddy Bears

Help us take a little love to the Children of Haiti. We are making dolls and teddy bears to give to the children we meet. Everyone is welcome-whether you sew or not!
Please bring sewing machines, cutters and mats, thread, shears, etc. Extension cords would be great too! If you are like me and intimidated by sewing machines, there will be dolls to cut out and to stuff so there is something for everyone!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
FARMINGTON CAMPUS

We are looking for volunteers to lead our PreK/K class in Farmington starting this week! There are 2 volunteer opportunities:
1) PreK/K Lead Teacher: Oct 17th – Oct 31st (3 Sundays)
2) PreK/K Lead Teacher: Nov 7th – Nov 21st (3 Sundays)
This class has been having 4-6 kids and uses a very easy curriculum to follow with very easy prep. There will be a helper available to assist each week as well. You do not need to be a current attendee of the Farmington campus to volunteer. Please contact me if you can help with any of these weeks or if you have any questions. Thanks!

In-Stitches provides knitted and crocheted goods to the children of the Angel Tree program each Christmas. Our desire is to serve the Rochester community as well by having a surplus of hats and mittens to deliver and have available when people in need visit the church. We will be collecting hats, mittens, and scarves from now through the winter months.

MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS)

MOPS is for every mother with children ages infant through kindergarten. We gather once a month for meetings which include speakers, discussion, and getting to know one another. MOPPETS is our children’s program that meets during each MOPS meeting. New moms are welcome to join us at any point during the year – we are excited to meet you!
