home groups

“…they met in small groups in homes…” Acts 2:42

The early church regularly met in each other’s homes. They knew it was a great way to build community, learn from each other, share needs, and grow together.

Sunday services are great, but we know it’s impossible to really get to know everyone in a worship service. This is especially true in a growing church like Grace. How do you experience real fellowship in a larger church? Home Groups were the answer for the early church—and we believe they still are today.

At Grace, Home Groups are all about making friends, cultivating lasting bonds, and “doing life” together!  They’re about growing in faith, having fun, and just hanging out with one another. Home Groups give people a place to belong and connect with others—life was never meant to be lived alone!

A Home Group is a small number of individuals, 8 – 12 ideally, who gather together weekly for fellowship, Bible Study, prayer, and service.

Home Groups are where real church happens!  These smaller meetings are opportunities to:

  • Love and be loved
  • Know and be known
  • Serve and be served
  • Celebrate and be celebrated

Our home groups meet on a regular basis relaxed fellowship and an informal time of discussion around God’s Word. There is no better way to get plugged in and connect with other people at GCC in a more personal, comfortable setting than to participate in a Home Group.

Interested in joining a Home Group?

We have dozens of groups that meet in Rochester and the surrounding communities on six different nights of the week. There’s bound to be one that fits your schedule! If you’re interested in getting plugged in and joining a Home Group, contact Jan.
