Grace Community Church strives to meet the needs of others by reaching out into our community and beyond through local outreach and overseas missions.

Local Outreach

Grace Food Pantry
The Grace Food Pantry exists to help meet some of the practical needs in our community in a tangible way. Throughout the week we are available to provide food for families and individuals in need of assistance. We also provide Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets during the holiday season.
The Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays 1-3pm and Saturdays 9-11am. Please call 603.332.9689 to make an appointment.

Angel Tree
Each Christmas members of our congregation have an opportunity to provide gifts for children of incarcerated parents. Over the past few years we have taken this outreach a step further, hosting a big Christmas party for Angel Tree children and their caregivers.

School Kits for Kids
For the past several years we have worked in conjunction with local welfare agencies to provide backpacks filled with school supplies for families in our church and community who need this type of assistance.

Soup Kitchen
Grace is involved with the Inter-Faith Soup Kitchen held at the United Methodist Church in Rochester. A team of 10-12 people prepare and serve a meal faithfully the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Mountain Movers
Mountain Movers is a team of people who endeavor to share the love of Christ through practical works. The goal is simply to be the hands of God, building relationships in the communities where we live.

In Stitches
In Stitches is a group that gathers to knit and crochet items to donate to people in need. Projects vary and include scarves, hats, mittens, etc. Anyone at any level is welcome and extra supplies and needles are available.

Overseas Missions

India
Our primary involvement in India has been through support of the ministry of the India Gospel League (www.iglworld.org). This takes on the form of prayer, financial support, child sponsorship.

World Missionaries
Grace is partnering with several families of missionaries by helping to provide prayer and financial support. These missionaries are all over the world including locations like Central Asia and Latin America. Two organizations that we are connected to are Forward Edge International (www.forwardedge.org) and Mission to Unreached Peoples (www.mup.org).

Short-Term Missions Trips
Short-Term Missions Trips provide people in our congregation with a vital opportunity to experience what the Spirit of God is doing around the country and around the world. These trips also provide us with a greater understanding and heart for the role we are called to play in missions.
